Description
Today, I had to witness the crewl death of an innocent dog.
He had been running along the traffic, which was slow anyways, so everyone let him pass...
exept on person...the one the took his life.
He didn't take the small risk to move a few inches while the dog was exiting the letf shoulder, and he slamed full-force into the animal.
I had to sit in the car and watch helplessly as the limp figure was thrown five feet worwards, and twich for a few seconds before finaly falling limp.
No one bothered to even move when the body was on the road. They just whent right over the body, and crushed it.
Humans don't have ANY respect for nature anymore. Animals owned most of the land we live and drive on before we even found it!
So if you have not sympathy, you can go ahead and say it was the dog's fault for running into the street.
I however, respect this animal's dumb courage. He kept going without any fear of the outcome.
Do you think me stupid for having sympathy for a wild animal? Well, what if he was a pet trying to get back to his home? What would YOU feel like if your dog was carelessly tossed across the Interstate?
Or what if he WAS farrel? Well, maybe he was trying to get back to his pack, or his family. It's not fair, the was we treat animals. Help to prevent this. Spread the word.

I have mixed feelings on roadkill.
I DO agree that people should try to avoid hitting animals on the road, but sometimes they
A- Did not see the animal
B- Could not brake in time to avoid hitting the animal
C- Were on a busy road where swerving or breaking to save the animal would cause a massive wreck and endanger HUMAN lives.
As wonderful and beautiful as animals are, human life >>>>>> animal life.
And plus I plan on using animals killed in the road for my taxidermy projects, because there is really no other option currently available to me short of hunting and killing an animal (Which I would be fine with if I or another ate the animal I hunted, but I have no want or need to hunt for food.)
It is, however, truly a tragedy when somebody knowingly and purposefully hits an animal when they could have avoided doing so without endangering others on the road.
